I coordinate donations at the Sycamore Community Church in San Jose. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in San Jose, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Sycamore Community Church on Sunday between 11am and 2pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Sycamore Community Church clothing bank, which is open to everyone. I hope life is good to you.

Sending strength, Maria. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Jinja this morning. Greetings from Jinja.

          • Keep going, Maria. Hope you get there. God bless
