40 pairs of children's shoes for Maple Refugee Centre
A simple way to help: donate warm clothing for kids at Maple Refugee Centre.
🇪🇸 Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain1,461 views
I coordinate donations at Maple Refugee Centre in Barcelona. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes kids' 3 to 5 and women's S-L. If you're in Barcelona, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Maple Refugee Centre on Friday between 11am and 4pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the Maple Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you and your family, Karina. It takes guts to ask. Well done.
Rooting for you. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. I have a 11 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Sending good thoughts, Karina. Your post was clear and honest. Take care.
