Kasarani
Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 131 neighbors in Kasarani. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Wishing you the best, Mugisha. Shared this with my family. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. God bless.

      • Good luck, Mugisha. More neighborhoods should do this.

You're not alone, Mugisha. Shared it with a few friends. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of Kasarani

take care. Shared it with a few friends. After 28 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Thane
