33 volunteers for the Free Community Meal in Sacramento
Give a few hours to the Free Community Meal - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇺🇸 California, United States232 views
Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 242 neighbors in Sacramento. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.

More neighborhoods should do this. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Take care!
