I coordinate donations at the Lotus Family Centre in Cape Coast. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled.
We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes toddler through teen. If you're in Cape Coast, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at the Lotus Family Centre on Sunday between 10am and 2pm.
If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate.
Items go to families directly and the rest to the the Lotus Family Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone.
Thank you so much.
