I coordinate donations at Harmony Refugee Centre in Leeds. Every year around this time we hear from families who have nothing warm for their children, and this year demand has more than doubled. We're collecting clean, gently used or new coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves in sizes 4-12. If you're in Leeds, we can arrange a pick-up or you can drop things at Harmony Refugee Centre on Thursday between 9am and 4pm. If you're elsewhere, you may offer to sponsor a coat through a local shop - message in the comments and we can coordinate. Items go to families directly and the rest to the Harmony Refugee Centre clothing bank, which is open to everyone. If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

  • Hope it all works out. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless

    • Stay strong, Wyatt. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. All the best!

      • Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Hyderabad
