31 volunteers for the Refugee Welcome Picnic in Lucknow

We're short of hands for the Refugee Welcome Picnic; can you spare a morning?

Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 314 neighbors in Lucknow. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

        • Hope it all works out. Great idea, hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Love from São Paulo.
