Alcalá de Henares
Every year the Neighborhood Winter Coat Drive brings together 284 neighbors in Alcalá de Henares. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Take care. I hope things turn around soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best

Good luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Alcalá de Henares.
