20 volunteers for the Free Bike Repair Day in Mumbai
We are short of hands for the Free Bike Repair Day; can you spare a morning?
🇮🇳 Maharashtra, India454 views
Every year the Free Bike Repair Day brings together 462 neighbors in Mumbai. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

hope things get better soon, Meena. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. God bless.
You're not alone, Meena. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Dallas but we're thinking of you. Take care.
Thanks for sharing this. Great idea, hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Mumbai.
