We're short of hands for the Refugee Welcome Picnic; can you spare a morning?

Durgapur
Every year the Refugee Welcome Picnic brings together 488 neighbors in Durgapur. I help organize it with 6 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. I hope life is good to you.

  • Sending strength. Shared it with a few friends. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.

    • Take care. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 7 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Onitsha.
