16 volunteers for the Free Community Meal in Xalapa
Give a few hours to the Free Community Meal - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.

Every year the Free Community Meal brings together 358 neighbors in Xalapa. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Take care, Miguel. This could happen to any of us. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Take care
