Kasarani
Every year the Free Bike Repair Day brings together 125 neighbors in Kasarani. I help organize it with 5 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for serving food, washing up and welcoming guests. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a family-friendly day, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

  • More neighborhoods should do this. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.

    • Thanks for sharing this, Margaret. It takes guts to ask. Well done. We're a small family in Dharan but we're thinking of you.

      • stay strong. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Lowell

        • Hope it all works out, Margaret. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Mohammedia donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Mohammedia.
