12 volunteers for the Seniors' Tea Afternoon in El Paso
We're short of hands for the Seniors' Tea Afternoon; can you spare a morning?
🇺🇸 Texas, United States1,024 views
Every year the Seniors' Tea Afternoon brings together 478 neighbors in El Paso. I help organize it with 11 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for stewarding, first-aid support and clean-up. Shifts are four hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
