10 volunteers for the School Supplies Giveaway in Johannesburg
Give a few hours to the School Supplies Giveaway - everyone is welcome and no experience is needed.
🇿🇦 Gauteng, South Africa699 views
Every year the School Supplies Giveaway brings together 189 neighbors in Johannesburg. I help organize it with 9 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down.
We need people for set-up, serving, translation and clean-up. Shifts are two to three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers.
It's a long-standing tradition, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day.
If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending strength, Shireen. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Love from Olinda
Praying for you. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too
