I've been a nurse for 18 years, most of them in dialysis at Kazan Children's Hospital in Kazan. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I always make time for a proper cup of tea. Small things matter when someone is frightened.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
