Zainab Reem Zaki
Youth rugby coach and mentor

- English
I've coached rugby at Cairo Boxing Gym since 2002. Most of my players were between 8 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Zainab
If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Zainab: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
