Vanessa Rosângela Figueiredo
12 years teaching geography in Santos
- 🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Beacon High School
- 2014 to 2025
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I make terrible puns. Inside it, I answered every email, even at midnight.
More about Vanessa
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Vanessa: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
