Tizita Fikir Bekele
Choir director and singer
- 🇪🇹 Bahir Dar, Amhara, Ethiopia
- Bahir Dar Orchestra
- Since 1981
- English
I play jazz and choir direction. I started in 1981 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Tizita
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Tizita: I'd put a gift toward recording a small album.
