Pottery, done properly
- 🇪🇬 Aswan, Aswan, Egypt
- Aswan Works
- 1997 to 2016
- English, Arabic
I've worked in pottery from 1997 to 2016. I learned from my aunt and passed what I could on to 630 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I make terrible puns.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Salma: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
