Pornpimol Fon Suksawat
Local weaving and masonry
- 🇹🇭 Phuket, Phuket, Thailand
- Since 1981
- English, Thai
I've worked in weaving since 1981. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 2,570 apprentices.
The best compliment I ever got was a customer who called me back 25 years later for another job.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
What gifts mean to Pornpimol: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
