Naliaka Nyambura Nabwire
Youth netball coach and mentor
- 🇺🇬 Kampala, Central Region, Uganda
- Kampala Harbor Boxing Gym
- Since 1984
- English, Swahili
For 42 years I've run the netball program at Kampala Harbor Boxing Gym in Kampala. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never raise my voice.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Naliaka
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
