Mensah Yaw Mahama

34 years teaching social studies in Tarkwa

  • 🇬🇭 Tarkwa, Western, Ghana
  • Tarkwa Primary School
  • Since 1985
  • English, Twi
For 41 years I have been the social studies teacher at Tarkwa Primary School. I teach mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.

More about Mensah

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the national park, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
