Lola Hauwa Daramola
Folk music and drums teacher
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Baobab Ensemble
- Since 2001
- English
I play folk music and drums. I started in 2001 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 13 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
More about Lola
If you ever danced at one of my shows, I hope it was a good night.

What gifts mean to Lola: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
