Lakmal Suranga Karunaratne
Taught religious studies at Hillcrest Girls' School
- 🇱🇰 Colombo, Western, Sri Lanka
- Hillcrest Girls' School
- 1983 to 1993
- English
Hillcrest Girls' School was my second home. I taught religious studies there from 1983 to 1993, mostly teenagers.
Over the years I had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Lakmal
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Lakmal: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
