I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 39 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 1,010 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Laiba
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Laiba: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
