I coached volleyball at Tema Boxing Gym from 1995 to 2018. Most of my players were between 9 and 18, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I answered every email, even at midnight.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
