Joaquim Francisco Ferreira

Home economics teacher at Brookfield Grammar School, Since 2000

🇧🇷 Santos, São Paulo, Brazil
Brookfield Grammar School
Since 2000
Portuguese

I came to teaching late, after working as an accountant, and 26 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

More about Joaquim

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Home economics Spanish

What gifts mean to Joaquim: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me home economics in 2010 at Brookfield Grammar School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard.
