I taught astronomy at Windsor University from 1980 to 2003, and supervised 30 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Jewel
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
