Hiba Fatima Saleh
Calligraphy artist in Mecca
- 🇸🇦 Mecca, Makkah, Saudi Arabia
- Old Silverlake Pottery
- Since 2002
- English, Arabic
I work mostly in calligraphy, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 2002 at Old Silverlake Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Old Silverlake Pottery, which keeps me honest.
More about Hiba
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
What gifts mean to Hiba: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
