I taught geography and mathematics at Elmwood Academy, Mekelle. I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it.
Over the years I had 440 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Hanna
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
