I've been a nurse for 22 years, most of them in school nursing at Kisumu University Hospital in Kisumu. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
I've held a lot of hands. I wouldn't change a thing.
More about Esther
I still get cards from families years later. They're pinned to my fridge.
