Comfort Yewande Bankole
Master of weaving, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Little Hope Repairs
- Since 1987
- English, Yoruba
I'm a weaving specialist. If you live around Lagos, there's a good chance I've worked in a building near you.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
What gifts mean to Comfort: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
