Bolaji Abubakar Okonkwo
Retired social studies teacher from Westbrook Grammar School
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- Westbrook Grammar School
- 1980 to 2002
- English, Hausa
Westbrook Grammar School was my second home. I taught social studies there from 1980 to 2002, mostly Grade 8.
Over the years I had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Bolaji
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
