Achieng Irene Ssemwogerere
30 years teaching design and technology in Naivasha
- 🇰🇪 Naivasha, Nakuru, Kenya
- Beacon Academy
- 2003 to 2018
- English, Swahili, Spanish
I taught design and technology and social studies at Beacon Academy, Naivasha. I never turned anyone away.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Achieng
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the old fort, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Achieng: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
