Zenaida needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
Zenaida is eight weeks into recovery and would welcome a mentor with lived experience.

I'm eight weeks into recovery from gambling addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.
I hope life is good to you.
- effort
- 1 call a week
- format
- Online or by phone
- skills

Thinking of you, Zenaida. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Dammam but we're thinking of you. All the best.
Stay strong, Zenaida. Wishing Zenaida a smooth procedure and a full recovery. My neighbor in Jakarta Barat donated after I showed her your page. All the best.

Wishing you peace, Zenaida. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Victoria
