Yvonne needs a lift to the Kumasi Dialysis Unit - can you help one day a week?

A rota of drivers to the Kumasi Dialysis Unit would keep Yvonne on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Yvonne has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to the Kumasi Dialysis Unit alone. After a minor stroke, Yvonne can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 22 km each way. Yvonne is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thank you so much.

Sending strength. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Wish I lived closer to Moscow so I could bring a meal. Love from Saket.
