Yuki is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at Osaka University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,300.
The registrar has said Yuki can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Yuki has a first-class average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Yuki would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Yuki isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
