Yoga needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
Yoga is four months into recovery and would welcome a mentor with lived experience.

I'm four months into recovery from gambling addiction. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.

thinking of you. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Hamilton this morning
Rooting for you, Yoga. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. I'll check back for the next update. Take care.
Hope things get better soon. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Take care.
Best of luck, Yoga. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Thinking of Jakarta.
