Yaw needs clippers, chairs and mirrors to reopen a barbershop
Yaw has run a barbershop for three years; a fire in the building destroyed the equipment, and $550 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a barbershop in Tarkwa. In July, a fire in the building took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $550 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $310
• Initial stock: supplies: $75
• Shop repairs and licensing: $85
• Working capital for the first month: $80
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

You're not alone, Yaw. Gave what I could, wish it was more. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Stuttgart this morning.
So sorry you're going through this, Yaw. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Guadalajara donated after I showed her your page!
