Yasir can't leave home - help build a ramp
Help Yasir regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇵🇰 Sukkur, Sindh, Pakistan626 views
Yasir has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Yasir can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Yasir's family will cook lunch for the team.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

- one weekend

thanks for sharing this. Looking forward to the next update. We're a small family in Munich but we're thinking of you.
Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Thinking of Sukkur
You're not alone. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Sukkur.
