Yard rescue for Zawadi, 91: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Nairobi: bring gloves and a rake.

I'm 91 and I have lived in this house in Nairobi for 22 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Hang in there, Zawadi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Blessings
Hope things get better soon. Get well soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Onitsha.
Shared this with my family. It's not much but it's yours. Love from Hobart.
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Nairobi. I'll ask around and let you know
Praying for you, Zawadi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 6 years in accounting I know how hard it is to ask for anything.
Get well soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
gave what I could, wish it was more!
