I'm 79 and I have lived in this house in Seattle for 30 years. After the storm in January, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.

So sorry you're going through this, Weston. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. After 15 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
