Yard rescue for Vaishali, 76: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Surat: bring gloves and a rake.
🇮🇳 Surat, Gujarat, India477 views
I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Surat for 44 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a recent fall.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
