Tithi, 73, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 73 and I have lived in this house in Pune for 26 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Rooting for you, Tithi. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too!
wishing you peace, Tithi. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Greetings from São Paulo.

Take care, Tithi. Hope the doctors have good news. We're a small family in Badagry but we're thinking of you.
