Yard rescue for Sophia, 76: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Berlin: bring gloves and a rake.
🇩🇪 Berlin, Berlin, Germany328 views
I'm 76 and I have lived in this house in Berlin for 30 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be twelve weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
