Yard rescue for Salvador, 92: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Salvador, 92, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 92 and I have lived in this house in Xalapa for 28 years. After the storm in May, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of poor eyesight.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hang in there. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Xalapa
Good luck, Salvador. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Love from Hamilton.
