Yard rescue for Russell, 75: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Garden rescue day in Tacoma: bring gloves and a rake.
๐บ๐ธ Tacoma, Washington, United States960 views
I'm 75 and I have lived in this house in Tacoma for 47 years. After the storm in August, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: someone with a chainsaw, plus a few people with rakes and gloves. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Sending strength. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours
Hope it all works out. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Greetings from San Diego.
