Yard rescue for Rudi, 74: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Rudi, 74, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 74 and I have lived in this house in Jakarta for 20 years. After the storm in July, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of my hip replacement.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: a small team to cut, stack and carry away branches. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Praying for you, Rudi. Hope this works out for you. All the best.
Best of luck. Get well soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Love from Ciudad de México
Stay strong, Rudi. Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Riyadh but we're thinking of you. Love from Riyadh
