Yard rescue for Rita, 84: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Rita, 84, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Rome for 49 years. After the storm in April, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be ten weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Glad we found this place.

Take care, Rita. Get well soon. Love from Warangal
Hang in there. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Rome.
Thanks for sharing this, Rita. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Yonkers!
