Yard rescue for Ravi, 84: fallen trees and overgrown beds
Ravi, 84, can no longer manage the yard after a storm; we're looking for helpers with chainsaws and rakes.

I'm 84 and I have lived in this house in Kozhikode for 47 years. After the storm in June, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of arthritis.
The council has told me it will be six weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
I hope life is good to you.

You're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Kozhikode
Sending strength, Ravi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Greetings from Mandeville.
Best of luck. Your post was clear and honest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Milan!
Good luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Naples.
